After 6 1/2 months of traveling…I’m HOME! I’m so grateful for an amazing adventure across Europe with my husband. And our lives have been blessed by all of the new friends and clients we met and connected with along the the way.

I had a beautiful homecoming weekend in Los Angeles with fab lunches, brunches and dinners with friends, and I had a spectacular and special time with the members of my Doing Business Like a Queen coaching group live at The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, and had an amazing private intensive with the incredible Cindi Lee, of www.CindiLeeYoga.com.

NEW and exciting pathways are emerging on some creative projects I’m beyond elated about! These projects are so me, really integrating all of my true desires…I wondered why it’s taken me this long to have the confidence to be so fully myself.

Ahhh, what a glorious 6 1/2 months of travel it’s been!  I really ought to do a montage of this epic journey…but that’s a creative outlet for another day! 

I’m wrapping up my time in the English countryside…and what a glorious place it’s been for me be to be in the “in between”.  Here’s a picture of the farmhouse my husband and I have been staying in…cooking, cozying up to fires every night, going for long walks, and I’ve done plenty of journaling too.

Clarissa Pinkola Estes, best-selling author of Women Who Run With the Wolves talks about a world in between worlds…and that’s exactly where I’ve been for much of 2012, and from what I hear from my Divine Living Radio Show listeners and Feminine Art of Manifesting participants, many other women have been in that “in between” space too.

I’m loving the English countryside…AND I’m so grateful to announce I am successfully beginning week 2 of my DIY Detox.  I’ve been spending time with friends, going for walks, gave myself an at-home manicure, and even hosted a private intensive in our farmhouse for an international client. 

My view on a blissful autumn walk in the English countryside…

I’m feeling really empowered in my life and am finding that from this place, my desires become clearer, which makes them far easier to manifest.  Did you know that statistically, only 1 in 100 people know what they want?  I’ve always been the type of person who’s known what I’ve wanted in life…or so I thought!

When I have been clear, BIG things, REALLY BIG and fun opportunities fall into my lap, like working at the White House, the Supreme Court, Harvard’s Institute of Politics, with Marianne Williamson, selling many $100k programs, getting married at the top of the Spanish Steps in Rome and even more recently, having been on a traveling adventure with my husband for 6-months, enjoying our lives and this beautiful planet from Palm Springs to Portugal to Puglia (Italy), and having over 300 women from around the world join me and Rose Cole for our Feminine Art of Manifesting Program.

So this has been the easy part…want to know the hard part?  All of the other times, when I thought I had a desire or goal, but it wasn’t 100% ME.  I’ve spent SO MUCH time and energy over the years doing what I now call, “applying for what I don’t really want”.  And this has included applying to universities, where I didn’t even love the campus, or for jobs that I thought would pay well, but weren’t my zone of genius, or tried to get clients for what was a fine service but not my true calling.  The same situation used to happen when I’d go for the guys who’d never really love me or do life the way I truly wanted.  And trying to get in with peer and professional circles that just were not my tribe.

The Universe Is On Your Side.  The older I get (I’m going to be 40 in a few months!), the more I’m able to surrender into the truth of God’s love for me and for all.  We are created with a vibrant life force and purpose that does not bless or benefit anyone when we go for what isn’t authentically US.  I know this sounds obvious, but the courage it takes to drop the conditioning of who we’re “supposed” to be, or how we’re “supposed” to make the money or who we’re “supposed” to marry is fierce.  It takes fiercely feminine courage to go for –FULLY–the most magical and natural state of YOU.

I’m enjoying my time in the English countryside.  After nearly 6 months of traveling, my husband and I decided to hunker down in a rustic farmhouse for the next few weeks before we return to California.  It’s such a different way of life here, slower, quite elegant in many ways, and certainly simpler than my life in LA, though in some ways more challenging too.  Travel has given me such an appreciation for diverse cultures ~ including my own, and I truly don’t find one better than another, as much as I just love the best of what each has to offer.  Here’s a great example…

Sunday lunch at a “proper” English pub

I pondered about how (and where) to spend my last few weeks of this epic 6-month journey…I thought maybe the South of France?  A cooking school in Italy?  Go up to Scotland?  And as I searched the web, and my heart, what I decided the best adventure I could take is to clear the space for new.

I’m moving in a new direction of my business and have new personal life desires too, and what occurred to me is that for all of these new dreams to manifest, I need to clear the space for them to come in to my life.  So rather than revving up and leaving Europe with a “bang”, Glenn and I decided to cleanse, go within, and enjoy completing this 7 year glorious chapter, before bringing in all of the new and exciting dreams we have for ourselves, our marriage, our business and our lives.

So for me, I’m calling it a DIY Detox…partially health related (no more Sunday lunches at the pub), somewhat emotionally related and mostly a mega “pattern interrupt” to allow new ideas, opportunities and beliefs to take root.

For me, here’s what my DIY Detox looks like so far:

1.  I set a time period to commit to being in this zone: 16 days

2.  I decided to ramp up taking my supplements again

3.  I am choosing to not consume caffeine, alcohol, sugar, dairy, breads/grains during this time period

4.  Yes, I’m working out…daily

5.  I’m not thinking/speaking negatively and when I start…I catch myself and stop quickly

6.  I’m connecting with friends more–in person and via Skype

7. I’m reading books that keep my vibration high

8.  I’m journaling daily my vision of what I’m calling in–so exciting!

9. I’m clearing out old emails/voicemails, having bills paid etc.

10.  I’m forgiving myself and others from past hurts, conflicts and judgments

You’re welcome to join me and create your own DIY Detox.  You can borrow some of mine, add your own elements and even persuade a friend to detox with you.  What is it that you crave?  What do you want to make room for?  What are your intentions and visions for the next 90 days?  What do you need to add/delete from your life either permanently or temporarily?
