So I’m finishing a coaching session at 5:30p.m. on Thursday, and I hear my husband say, “Your cousin from Vegas is driving in to watch your cousins Gio & Tawny play in Joshua Tree tonight.”
WHAT?! This is amazing. We come out to the desert (from Malibu) for a few months…thinking it’s going to be super chill and quiet.
Literally, the day we move in we have a house guest arrive for from Bali, and she stays for over a week. Wednesday she got on her next flight to Japan. Now that it’s Thursday, Glenn and I are thinking we’ll have a quiet evening at home. I had swordfish skewers marinating in the fridge (I’ll share that recipe soon), and it was results night for American Idol…yes, this is my idea of an ideal summer evening in our Palm Springs vacation rental.
Well, to me, life is for living and I’m always up for a change of plans. So after a quick jump in the shower, and swiftly pulling together my best dive bar outfit–admittedly it’s been a while…Glenn and I were off to the Joshua Tree Saloon.
I was excited see one of my favorite cousins and his wife showcase their incredible talent, and hang out with my ridiculously cool cuz (and her 80 year old boyfriend) from Vegas. Oh yeah…
So in case you thought what I mean by Divine Living is all about 5-star luxury…that’s not at all my take on my brand. Living divinely means allowing life for the highest vibration of true living–whatever that is to you.
Divine Living also means seizing:
- • Pattern interruptions: Which should not be confused with bright shiny object syndrome. Pattern interruptions support you in not getting stuck in a rut, to enhance bigger thinking and more expansive creativity.
- • As many fun opportunities that present themselves to you: This means we need to manage our time really well to fit in productive work time + play. Remember, when you’re having fun you’re raising your frequency, which means you’re raising your attraction power, which means you will more effortlessly bring in new clients to your biz.
- • Diversify your portfolio: Hey, if this tip is good for your finances, don’t you think it’s great for your creativity and femininity? Four Seasons are great (my husband always says he never met a Four Season he didn’t like), it’s just that, for me, my experience with my cousins last night at The Joshua Tree Saloon, was as high vibration as it gets…and THAT is what Divine Living is all about.
