Living a Divine Living lifestyle sounds fab!  But what is it really?  To live divinely means to live in connection with God, the Universe, abundance, creativity and prosperity.

So many women, myself included, can get used to living in lack…lack of: time, money, friendships, romance, community, health etc.  Watch this video on how to get out of lack and into your own Divine Living lifestyle.

Much love,

Gina DeVee

Having traveled the world, I’ve enjoyed the good fortune of experiencing many grand hotels and resorts.  Some luxurious, some quaint, and I have very fond memories of my trips.  On my recent New York City stop to come and play, meet up with friends, plus host a private meeting with some of my top clients, I chose The Four Seasons New York.

Upon my arrival, I was impressed with the grand entrance.  After 2 months in Europe and getting off a flight from Paris, it felt fantastic to be back in the United States and welcomed in Four Seasons style.

Lobby Entrance at the Four Seasons New York

My room is fabulous! So perfect for a good night’s sleep after a long flight, with plenty of space to unpack and work. A Queen does need her space after all.

My husband and I were welcomed with a hand-written personalized note.

Absolutely divine strawberry lemonade, strawberry macaroons, and in-season strawberries.

Drum roll please! Now for the “Most Memorable Welcome Ever”: Sugar art with our picture plus chocolates!

The generosity and creativity of Tiffani Cailor and the Four Seasons staff inspired me to think of new ways to be memorable in life and in business.  Any great resort or hotel can have a bottle of Champagne waiting, or the still life picture looking fruit plate.  However, to make the effort to visit my blog, get a picture and create this spectacular welcome piece is a treat and treasure I’ll always remember.  Thank you Four Seasons New York!

Tips for Being Memorable in Business and Life:

1.  Think of what is standard practice in your industry and then…don’t do that.  Think of the Champagne example from above.  As lovely as it is, it’s still ordinary for 5-star hotels, and for those of us business travelers who visit them regularly, it’s almost even expected. Thinking outside the box is a key way to leave a lasting impression.

2.  Personalize…anything.  In our high-tech, fast-paced, Facebook group, email blast, Twitter list era, the personalized touch in Western society is lacking.  Personalizing something for your top client, weekend house guest, or BFF adds an element of sparkle and joy to anyone’s life and will surely be remembered.

3.  The handwritten note.  Whether it’s a thank you note, or a “thinking of you” card, receiving thoughtful sentiments on beautiful stationery is always memorable.

4.  Pick up the phone.  In our age of internet, opt-in boxes,  autoresponders, and texting…actually picking up the phone and calling people creates a connection a bond and has a prospective client or friend or colleague feel special.  We all remember the people who had us feel special.

5.  For no special reason.  Receiving a call, a letter, a gift out of the blue or “just because” is a great way to celebrate life and the people who you care about.  Think of one person right now who you want to do something memorable for, and do it…just because.

Much love,

Gina DeVee

Celebrate or Procrastinate?

Sometimes it’s hard to celebrate life…even when we want to “believe the best” and “think positively” about all things and people.

Many times when we’re determined to chart a new course, or committed to developing new behaviors and actions, “that” curve ball comes in (especially on a Monday morning) and if we’re not careful, can let all of that hope, determination and commitment turn into paralysis and P-R-O-C-R-A-S-T-I-N-A-T-I-O-N.  Otherwise known as fear.

Champagne tasting at Veuve Clicquot in France

My husband and I went to Reims (the Champagne region) in France on Saturday, and then had a romantically lazy summer Sunday in Paris.

And though we experienced this slice of heaven over the weekend, returning to growing our business, nurturing our dreams, writing my book and hosting our Divine Living World Tour London stop has not yet landed us in the “we have no issues, no challenges and nothing to work on in our lives” category.

You know the “highs” and “lows” I’m talking about.  All women experience this to some degree…the issue is for each of us, is the roller coaster a rare siting or routine occurrence in our lives?

On today’s Divine Living Radio Show I will discuss how we women can have a greater level of self-mastery in our lives so we can celebrate more and procrastinate less.  You’re invited to join us via phone or internet.

Please leave a comment below about what you celebrate and procrastinate.

My husband and I had a great weekend and are still in Europe–Brussels to be exact and we’re, enjoying every minute.

Want to know why we’re loving life?  It’s probably not what you think.  Travelling and working is not a vacation.  It’s a lifestyle.

And like any lifestyle, unless you have some structure, routine, groundedness and order in your life, it’s impossible to be supported in your feminine energy and thus, impossible to be successful in any area of your life.

One of the reasons Glenn and I do life so well together is because we regularly communicate our desires and needs to each other.  It’s not that we don’t have our issues, it’s just that through loving, compassionate and non-judgmental communication, we move past the blocks together.

Whether or not you’re in a romantic relationship, as a woman entrepreneur, it’s critical that we set up systems, structures, routines and ways of being in the world that support us and our visions…so that we can support so many others.

In today’s Gina DeVee’s Divine Living international radio show I’m going to be addressing:

  • The traits of a powerful as a feminine woman entrepreneur (Queen vs. Princess)
  • Why planning and taking time for yourself is more generous to others
  • How to ask for what you want without feeling guilty
  • The necessity of forgiving yourself for your many mistakes
  • Ways to feel safe and experience greater connection in friendships and community

Replay link of today’s call is here.

Please “like” this Tweet this and spread the word to other women you know.  Looking forward to being with you on this important call for us all.
Much love,
Gina DeVee
P.S. What areas in your life would you like more love and order in ?  Leave a comment below.

Today I write you from a hotel in Los Angeles after having left Palm Springs, and I’m on my way to Europe.  I’m so grateful.  I’m actually following my heart’s desire, which is to travel, see new sites, make new friends, meet new clients and truly expand my experience in life.

For many years of my life I did what I thought I HAD to do,

what I was SUPPOSED to do, what I SHOULD do.

One of the gifts of building a global and mobile business has given me is the opportunity to be free, fluid and flexible.  I remember realizing that (as opposed to knowing) that I really could do my work from anywhere.  So since I have a love of travel, why not go travel?!

So today, I’m following my desires, which are clearly connected to my femininity.  I admit, it’s exciting to be taking off for Europe, yes, and at the same time it feels a little groundless to be traveling for somewhat indefinitely.

In life, we can get so used to challenges, obstacles, hard times, lack, not enough, and “stuff” to work on…so to keep allowing good, to continuously say “yes” to the way you want to live your life, and to create a blissful pattern of enjoyment is new to my system.

I think I was raised in the consciousness that it was virtuous to “be working” on something…a degree, a part-time job, a personal crisis, a romantic challenge, a psychological issue, a spiritual path.

And today, I amazed that the enjoyment of life is about what we choose to focus on and what we take action on.  There are other things going on in my life, (stuff I could go into some serious fear about) and because in this moment I know that fear is false evidence appearing real, my reality is feeling grateful that I get to write to you, meet some friends tonight for a send off cocktail party, and begin my European adventure.

Much love,

Gina DeVee

P.S.  On Monday I’ll be hosting my free Global Coaching Circle Call from London, England, so please join us athttp://www.estherexperience.com/globalcircle

I woke up today, and realized I was wasting time.  I was “doing” tasks that had gone past the point of not wanting to…and veered into being resentful of having to do them.  Though I realize “hate” is a strong word…if I used another, I’d be making this conversation “fluffy”…not something I’m typically known for. ;)

Sooo…if you need or want some Monday Motivation to live the life you’re meant for…enjoy this free Queens’ Global Coaching Call I offer to women entrepreneurs worldwide every Monday at 10:00am L.A./1:00p.m.NYC/6:00p.m.London:  Listen Here Now.

If you want to get on the list to get updates and call-in info every week visit this site.

Here’s to all of us soulful and talented women across the globe using our talents at the highest level and creating solutions for delegating what we’re not meant to do.

So this week I have decided to STOP creating programs I “think” I should do, just because I “can”, to make more room for my new photoshop obsession (see image above–my first creation unsupervised) and blog (which you are currently reading), and bring fresh and vibrant content out of me and into the world.

Leave a comment about what you’re going to STOP doing, to make room for what you want to START…starting this week!

So I’m finishing a coaching session at 5:30p.m. on Thursday, and I hear my husband say, “Your cousin from Vegas is driving in to watch your cousins Gio & Tawny play in Joshua Tree tonight.”

WHAT?!  This is amazing.  We come out to the desert (from Malibu) for a few months…thinking it’s going to be super chill and quiet.

Literally, the day we move in we have a house guest arrive for from Bali, and she stays for over a week.  Wednesday she got on her next flight to Japan.  Now that it’s Thursday, Glenn and I are thinking we’ll have a quiet evening at home.  I had swordfish skewers marinating in the fridge (I’ll share that recipe soon), and it was results night for American Idol…yes, this is my idea of an ideal summer evening in our Palm Springs vacation rental.

Well, to me, life is for living and I’m always up for a change of plans.  So after a quick jump in the shower, and swiftly pulling together my best dive bar outfit–admittedly it’s been a while…Glenn and I were off to the Joshua Tree Saloon.

I was excited see one of my favorite cousins and his wife showcase their incredible talent, and hang out with my ridiculously cool cuz (and her 80 year old boyfriend) from Vegas.  Oh yeah…

Here I am with my musician cousin, Gio and my Vegas cousin, Dar with her boyfriend, Jimmy

So in case you thought what I mean by Divine Living is all about 5-star luxury…that’s not at all my take on my brand.  Living divinely means allowing life for the highest vibration of true living–whatever that is to you.

Divine Living also means seizing:

  • • Pattern interruptions: Which should not be confused with bright shiny object syndrome.  Pattern interruptions support you in not getting stuck in a rut, to enhance bigger thinking and more expansive creativity.
  • As many fun opportunities that present themselves to you: This means we need to manage our time really well to fit in productive work time + play.  Remember, when you’re having fun you’re raising your frequency, which means you’re raising your attraction power, which means you will more effortlessly bring in new clients to your biz.
  • Diversify your portfolio:  Hey, if this tip is good for your finances, don’t you think it’s great for your creativity and femininity? Four Seasons are great (my husband always says he never met a Four Season he didn’t like), it’s just that, for me, my experience with my cousins last night at The Joshua Tree Saloon, was as high vibration as it gets…and THAT is what Divine Living is all about.
